My book "Constructive Real Analysis," (Harper 1967) has been reprinted and will be available in paperback in the Dover Books on Mathematics in May, 2012.

In the Wikipedia biography of Handel there are some examples of his music in audio files. Four of these files are the E minor Sonata for Flute and Harpsichord. I play the flute; my wife, Martha, the harpsichord.

Google: Handel wiki. Look for Media at the end of the biography, before References. Or the files can be found by clicking on "Al" below.

The late Leanord Sarason (UW Math) was a fine musician. He was a graduate of the Yale music department in composition. His mentor was the composer Paul Hindemith. A piano sonata of his was recorded by me during a composer's convention in Seattle. It was played by my wife, Martha Goldstein.(Google: Martha Goldstein wiki). Subsequently, it was on her program in a concert tour of Norway and Sweden. An astute critic in Bergen said it sounded like Hindemith.

The sonata can be downloaded by clicking on Sarason below. If your browser is in good shape the music will play by clicking. Otherwise a download will needed.

Since 1980 I have been collecting audio files of chamber music. I have over 3000 files that are archived at the University of North Carolina in the repository "ibiblio.org." There are over a dozen musicians from UW.

These files are licensed for free download from ibiblio and many other sites. In particular most of them can be found in Wikipedia and Wikipedia Commons. The latter however are in ogg vorbis format because of patent restrictions.
